Quality staff development and training for educators and administrators

Conflict resolution services for individuals, businesses, and school systems

Welcome

We provide special education training and guidance for educators and administrators, training and advocacy services for parents, and Tennessee Supreme Court listed Rule 31 mediation services for individuals and businesses.

Training

Training specifically designed with your specific needs in mind is key to your effectiveness. Give your personnel the right tools and knowledge, they will appreciate it.

SPEDucation

Special Education, on a good day, is complicated. SPEDucation, (n), 1. things your mother never told you, 2. things they didn't teach you in college, 3. things you need to know.

Mediation

Divorce, child custody, other family matters, disputes between friends or neighbors, issues at work; mediation may be the key to resolving life's little, and BIG, problems. That's what we do.

SPEDquarters

Info and materials to help you further your SPEDucation. Some materials are free for all, some are accessible to clients only. SPEDquarters: your Special Education headquarters.

Why us?

Because, Conflict is Inevitable - Agreeability is Optional

If you are a public school system, you provide Special Education services. Everything your Special Education personnel, general education personnel, and administrators do every day could either result in conflict, or prevent conflict.

Your personnel need to be trained in Special Education; they need to be SPEDucated. We provide the SPEDucation your personnel need in order to be more effective at their job, minimize conflict, and increase the ability of all parties to agree.

We travel the country providing training and staff development for educators and administrators regarding the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act), effective communication skills, conflict / dispute resolution, and facilitating productive IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings.

We also present frequently at regional meetings of educators, state conferences, and national institutes on topics dealing with the education of our students with disabilities.

Parents of children with special needs may benefit from the training, support, and advocacy services we offer. Special Education can be confusing and intimidating, let us equip you to be an even more effective advocate for your child.

Additionally, if you are an individual, a couple, or even a business, you may be faced with a conflict that you cannot resolve. Our trained mediators provide fair, impartial, neutral facilitation services to individuals, families, and businesses that seek to reach agreement through the process of alternative dispute resolution.

By providing services at times and locations that meet the needs of the participants, our full attention is directed toward facilitating an agreement that results in the participants' satisfaction, while being both time and cost effective. Our future-oriented techniques serve to encourage and increase the participants' ability to agree.

Why do we exist? It's simple; because Conflict is inevitable - Agreeability is optional. We exist to help you increase your Agreeability!

Agreeability is not just our name...it is our mission
